Soulmates and Sacred Bonds: Torah Wisdom about Couplehood – Starts Oct 7th

What does the Torah have to say about the concept of bashert — destined life partners — and what does it truly mean to build a relationship rooted in holiness, trust, and mutual growth?

In this engaging virtual course, we will explore timeless Torah wisdom on couplehood, examining classical Torah and Rabbinic sources and practical insights. We’ll explore concepts such as authentic communication, emotional awareness, and Divine matchmaking and consider how the Torah’s wisdom can transform relationships and strengthen connections.

The Book of Yeshoshua – Starts Oct 13th

Sefer Yehoshua chronicles the dramatic beginning of the Jewish people’s life in the Land of Israel after their formation as a nation and the giving of the Torah. This in-depth course will closely examine the biblical text through careful study of the verses and classical commentaries while also engaging with the timeless questions that emerge from the narrative. Together, we will explore the challenges of leadership, the complexities of living among other nations, the lure of idolatry, and the profound question of G-d’s role in the conquest and settlement of the Land. Through thoughtful analysis and discussion, we will uncover the enduring relevance of Sefer Yehoshua for understanding Jewish history, faith, and identity.

 Bat Mitzvah Guidance

Envisioning the Experience

One of the beautiful aspects of a Bat Mitzvah experience is that there is no single, well-defined script for how to enter this new stage of life. That flexibility creates a wonderful opportunity for you and your child to dream together about what you want this meaningful milestone to look and feel like.

I would love to support you in this visioning process and help you bring those dreams to life. Our work together might include exploring different ways to mark this moment, designing an experience that feels meaningful and authentic to your family, and thinking through the practical details and logistics along the way.

Our work together can be as simple as a one-time conversation or grow into a longer-term partnership. I’m happy to offer whatever level of support feels right for your family.

We can do this work entirely online, so no matter where you live, I am happy to work with you!

Learning and Dvar Torah Writing

One of my favorite parts of preparing for a Bat Mitzvah is studying together and helping a student discover the ideas, questions, and stories that speak to her. From those first moments of exploration to the final words on the page, I love accompanying her as she finds her voice and creates a Dvar Torah that is truly her own.

Some students arrive with a blank page and no idea where to begin. Others have already started learning and are looking for a thoughtful partner to help them take their ideas further. Wherever she is in the process, we can learn Torah together, uncover what feels meaningful to her, and shape those thoughts into a Dvar Torah that is personal, thoughtful, and connected to who she is becoming.

We can meet as many times as work for you, and create a Dvar Torah that suits your particular needs.

I also love helping Bat Mitzvah girls prepare to stand before their community and share those words. Through practice, encouragement, and gentle coaching, we work on finding a natural rhythm, speaking with confidence, and allowing her own personality and spirit to shine through.

When the day arrives, my hope is that your daughter feels not only prepared, but proud—to stand up, speak from the heart, and share something of herself with everyone who has gathered to celebrate this extraordinary moment in her life.

Support for family members

A Bat Mitzvah is a meaningful milestone not only for the Bat Mitzvah girl, but for the entire family. As she steps into this new stage of life, parents and family members are often navigating their own questions, hopes, and emotions along the way.

Sometimes, it can be helpful to have someone alongside you—a thoughtful and supportive presence to help you make sense of all the pieces and find your own way through the experience.

Whether you’re looking for someone to talk with about planning, support in shaping a family speech or message, or simply a space to explore the spiritual and emotional dimensions of guiding your child through this important moment, I am here to help.

My hope is to offer a place where you can pause, reflect, ask questions, and feel supported as you accompany your daughter on this beautiful journey.
